40 Days for Life - Ash Wednesday, February 22 - Palm Sunday, April 1, 2012
This is the largest pro-life activity to end abortion. Three components of the campaign are: 
    40 days fasting & prayer,
    40 days peaceful vigil,
    40 days community outreach.
The most visible component of the campaign is the 40-day peaceful, prayerful, public witness outside the local abortion facility. The vigil is 12 hours/day from 7AM-7PM outside Planned Parenthood located at 17 Noxon St., Poughkeepsie.

Daughters of the American Revolution - Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 1PM.
A historical  play,  The Enemy Within: Arnold Returns Home  will be presented.
The setting is New London, CT, September 6, 1781.  After  committing treason against the American cause, Benedict Arnold is made a  Brigadier General in the British army.  Arnold has invaded CT (his home state).   He debates with a captured American Continental soldier as a massacre unfolds  at  nearby Fort Griswold and New London burns.
